Cat loves to hunker down in this bed

We live in a cold climate and my senior cat loves to cuddle up in this bed, surrounded in plush warmth. My cat is 12 pounds, and the small was way too small in the drawn up position. We don't open it up flat because he prefers to have a side to lean against.
